Waterfront Station II is a diverse development that is complementary to its surrounding community and furthers the goals of the Southwest Neighborhood Small Area Plan by: providing a variety of housing opportunities; enhancing the Southwest neighborhood’s position in the District as a performing arts and cultural hub; leveraging and maximizing the transit oriented nature of the site; all while providing a highly livable, sustainable, walkable and economically viable community.
The buildings at Waterfront Station II are design to achieve LEED Gold certification through a combination of stormwater, water-use, waste water, lighting, and HVAC strategies. The design is crafted carefully to enhance the community. It is vibrant and beautiful, yet considerate and responsible, and fits in the heart of Southwest DC.
