District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA) is the premier non-profit trade association representing the real estate development industry in the District of Columbia. Torti Gallas has volunteered for their yearly Community Improvement Day, most recently helping to clean up the Lederer Gardens & Environmental Education Center located across the street from our Nannie Helen at 4800 project.

Montgomery Housing Partnership (MHP) is an important local nonprofit organization that provides much needed affordable housing and supportive Community Life programs such as preschools and after school homework clubs for disadvantaged families throughout Montgomery County, Maryland. They serve more than 1,300 families including over 300 school age children in advancing their housing and educational achievements. At the beginning of the school year and during every holiday season, Torti Gallas collects backpacks, school supplies, holiday gifts, and monetary donations for over 80 children living in a Montgomery Housing Partnership community.

Torti Gallas volunteered and presented at the District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA) Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (S.T.E.M.) Summit. This action-packed, exciting youth summit exposes middle and high school aged children to varied science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) professionals. Torti Gallas has participated in discussion panels and shared information about our local Washington, DC area projects.

Rebuilding Together Montgomery County (RTMC) provides small and large-scale home repairs, accessibility modifications, and energy efficiency upgrades at no cost to low-income homeowners in Montgomery County. These services help the county’s most vulnerable residents live safely, securely and independently in their homes. Torti Gallas has worked with RTMC on several community improvement projects throughout the County.
